Kaiserschmarrn and Riesling Auslese

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • Some milk
  • 3 eggs
  • A splash of rum
  • Butter
  • Raisins
  • 1 tbsp sugar

For the topping

  • Plum compote
  • Powdered sugar

How to make Kaiserschmarrn

Preparation

Mix the flour, vanilla sugar, milk, and a pinch of salt with a whisk. Add 3 whole eggs to the smooth batter and refine it with a splash of rum. Heat the butter in a pan, add the batter, and top with raisins. Cook the Schmarrn in the pan on both sides with the lid closed.
